Log in to your account using your Yahoo! ID and password. If you don't have a Yahoo ID, you can click the "Sign Up" link to get a free one.

Locate the "Find People" search box that is located on the right side panel of your page.

Enter the email address for the Yahoo! member you wish to find. Click "Search."

View the Yahoo! profile that is returned in your search results to ensure it is the person you are looking for. If the right person is not located, proceed to the next step.

Click the "Contacts" tab at the top of your page. Select "View Connections." Click the option to "Invite Friends and Family to Connect." Enter the email address for the person you would like to find. Click "Confirm." The individual will be sent an email advising him that you wish to connect with him through Yahoo!. Wait for him to accept your invitation to connect.
