Picture In Profile: Facebook profile picture is very important, it help to distinguish you from other people with similar names on the platform so that your friends can easily recognise whenever they are searching for you on Facebook. To add your profile picture, make sure you have a photo you want to use saved somewhere on your device, and then follow these steps:

1. On your profile page, click Upload a Photo or the profile photo icon, this brings up a dialog box.
2. Click Choose File.
3. Depending on your device, this may say something slightly different, all you have to do is to choose a file from your device. This opens a navigation interface.
4. Select your desired photo and click Select or OK.
5. This brings you back to the Getting Started Wizard, except now there’s a preview of your new profile picture.
6. Click Save & Continue.
